Makeup Haul: Too Faced, Urban Decay, NYX, The Balm...

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I'm finally back and it feels great. My new years resolution is to keep motivated with my blog and post as regularly as I possibly can. So, lets see if I stick at it! Today, I decided to share with you all the make-up I have either purchased myself or was bought over Christmas and my birthday. Make-up is what I love, so family and friends always take this into consideration when buying me gifts and I couldn't thank them enough.

I was so overwhelmed this year with the palettes I got from either myself or family/friends! A couple of weeks before Christmas I actually treated myself to the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette as I was eyeing it up for ages! This is one of my favourite palettes ever, the colours are absolutely stunning and super pigmented. I have used this palette every day since I bought it.
My birthday was on the 29th December and my Auntie and friend surprised me with 3 palettes, I got the Urban Decay Naked 3, The Balm Nude Tude & Nude Dude. I have wanted these palettes for ages now and was completely overwhelmed when I got them given as a gift.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush (Love Hangover) - I asked my boyfriend to get this for me as I have been getting into blush recently, when I saw these from Too Faced I knew I had to have it! This is such a gorgeous blush and a little goes a long way! The packaging is so cute and I die every time I look at it!

NYX HD Finishing Powder (Banana) - This literally came in the post today. I have wanted to try this powder out as soon as I heard about it. I have wanted the Ben Nye Banana powder but its quite pricey so I haven't ever purchased it for myself. When I heard NYX had one for £8 I just had to get it. I can't wait to try it out.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (Medium-Deep) - I needed a new bronzer so decided to give this one a go, I got this for my birthday and have used it ever since. It actually smells like cocoa and the packaging is gorgeous. Too faced never fail on their packaging!

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - I ran out of my urban decay primer potion so decided to purchase a new one to try out. I have used this a few times but can't say I'm completely in love with this. I find it very very watery which I am not too keen on. I don't know if I would re-purchase this again.

Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner ( 1 Black Ink) -  I got this as a gift for Christmas as I put it on my wish list. I've heard a lot of good things about this liner so can't wait to give it a go. Usually, all the liners I have used in the past tend not to last so I'm hoping this one will be different!

Too Faced Melted Lipstick (Berry) - This colour is AMAZING. I haven't tried it out yet, but I have swatched it a couple of times and can already tell I will love it.

LA Girl Pro Concealer (Natural) - Another re-purchase. I have been using this concealer for a while now and honestly cannot praise it enough. I personally use it to highlight but the coverage is so amazing it would also be great for covering problem areas. I purchase mine off Amazon and they are so cheap!

Real Techniques Complexion Sponge - I would like to get the real beauty blender but I just can't justify spending £16 on a sponge. I have been using the beauty sponge from Primark for a while now and really like it. But I was intrigued in trying this one from Real Techniques due to it having a flat edge.

L'oreal Lumi Majique Foundation (W3 Gold Linen) - I bought this for myself as I ran out. This foundation is my holy grail. I have purchased it 3 times now as I love it. Its lightweight and gives a medium-full coverage without ever looking cakey.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know!

  2. I've seen a couple of reviews of the Nude Dude palette and it's really caught my appeal now. The packaging is so retro and the names of the shades are pretty funny! I've never tried the Too Faced melted lipsticks but they sound lovely. Ahh you're such a lucky duck!

  3. Now this is what you call a haul. It's all things that I would love to try too. I haven't tried anything from The Balm which is now stocked in my local Superdrug so I'll be giving something a try soon.
