Monthly Favourites | May ❤

Hi lovlies! I hope you are all well? So it's June, I can't believe it! Time just seems to fly by these days, it's scary! Just going to jump straight into it and tell you what I have been loving in the month of May...

I have been really getting into trying primers recently as last year I never really bothered with them. I picked up the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant pore eraser not too long ago and I really like it! I love the soft, matte and velvet-like finish that it leaves on my skin. It creates a great base for my foundation to apply onto and blurs out any imperfections that I have. This is most definitely a staple in my makeup routine now!

I'm a huge fan of contouring and highlighting and cream products are my favourite to use. I have been using the Mac Prep + Prime Highlighter - Lightboost for about 2 years now and love it. Every time I use it I fall more and more in love. This yellow based highlighter blends out perfectly and is great for brightening my under eye and to highlight other areas of my face.

My MAC fluidline recently dried up and I was so upset, I went on the look out for a cheap alternative until I could re-purchase it. I found the Seventeen - Smoulder Gel Eyeliner in boots for £3.99 so thought I would give it a try. I don't tend to buy cheaper gel liners as I find they just don't last at all but I am so happy I picked this one up. It's surprisingly really nice, it glides on smoothly and doesn't smudge. I like to either do a bold wing liner or smudge it out when doing a smoky eye and it works well for either.

I have quite a big selection of perfumes, as I just love investing in a nice luxury one now and again. I tend to pick one up at duty free every time I go on holiday just as a little treat to myself! The one that I seem to re-purchase over and over is Viktor & Rolf - Flowerbomb if any of you have smelt this you will understand me when I say this is absolutely GORGEOUS! My boyfriend got me this perfume for the first time about 3 years ago and since then it has been my favourite. I am so bad at describing smells so I am not even going to try to but if you are ever shopping just go have a smell of it and you'll understand why this is my fave!

That's all my favourites for this month. I love to read what other people have been loving so make sure you comment below and let me know what your favourites are!

Thank you so much for reading

Monthly Favourites | April ❤

Wow, I can't believe we are in May. How fast is this year going already?! It feels like Christmas was only a few week ago. Anyway, I have been loving a few things in the month of April...

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Highlighter (Luminous) - A highlighter has seemed to creep up on my past favourites but that is because I am obsessed with them. I am always on the look out for new highlighters to try. I purchased this one by Urban Decay a couple of month ago and especially love it for nights out. This champagne shade highlighter can be used on the face and also the body so it's perfect for highlighting your cheek bones, brow bone and collar bone! This is very glittery, so I tend to stay away from this as an every day highlighter but on a night out this looks gorgeous and pictures wonderfully. (Full review here)

❤ Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (Pebble) - This is literally my all time favourite foundation and has been for a while now. It applies flawlessly onto my skin, giving medium to full coverage which lasts ALL day. I like how I can use a small amount and build it up without it looking cakey! If you would like a full review on this foundation please let me know and I will happily do so.

❤ Loreal Telescopic Mascara - I am so impressed with this mascara, I have only just recently purchased this when it was on offer in Asda for £8! I cannot believe I hadn't tried this sooner, as it is amazing! I have been using it every day since I got it and will definitely be re-purchasing when I run out. It never leaves my lashes looking clumpy, it just simply adds length and volume without looking too much.

❤ Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup - This is a cremesheen lipstick therefore slightly glossy, highly pigmented and glides on the lips smoothly due to its creamy formula. This pinky nude has been the lipstick I have been grabbing for recently, I love it for every day or pairing it with a smokey eye on a night out! This colour is definitely a must have for spring/summer!

What have you been loving in April? I'd love to know :)
