Review | Milani Cosmetics

I'm always looking at brands from the US and always constantly wishing they could be available here in the UK. Milani cosmetics has always been one brand that I have wanted to try as it's raved about by so many beauty gurus! I was recently browsing the internet looking at makeup (as usual) and came across Beauty Crowd, an online shop which stocks brands such as Milani, Jordanna, Nicka K, LA girl etc. These are brands which are so hard to get hold of over here so I was completely shocked and happy when I found this website. As I am makeup OBSESSED I had to purchase two products from the Milani range as I was so eager to try this brand.

I decided on getting a baked blusher in the shade "Luminoso", I decided to get this colour as I've heard Jaclyn Hill talk about it multiple times, saying how lovely it is and she was completely right. I wore it today for the first time and I'm completely obsessed. It's light peach shade with a slight golden shimmer, I loved how this looked on me, it gave me such a healthy sun-kissed glow! The pigmentation in this blusher is amazing, as these are so affordable I was worried these wouldn't give much pay off but I was completely wrong. The packaging is quite bulky as there is a second compartment with a mirror and a small brush. The mirror is handy, but I will not be using the brush as it is not the best quality but its always good to keep one there if I am out and don't have anything to apply my blusher with.  I am in love with these blushers and would absolutely love to collect them in every colour!

I couldn't not order a new lippy, so I decided to get this one in "26 Nude Creme". Yes, another nude lipstick... I don't know why but at the moment all I seem to want to wear is nude lipsticks. The pigmentation again is gorgeous, I am completely surprised at the quality of these due to the price. This is a neutral toned pink shade which would suit most skin tones. Again, I wore this today and the staying power made me very happy, I was so pleased at how long it lasted (I reckon 4 hours until it started to fade)!

Now lets talk about the packaging. So so pretty! I absolutely love the gold and they look so gorgeous on my dressing table.  If I didn't know, I would definitely think these are a high end product. For the price, the quality is unreal. I showed these to my mum as soon as I got them and she couldn't believe they were a drug-store product. 

Overall, I am so happy I finally have the chance to get my hands on Milani products (Thanks to Beauty Crowd). Next, I would like to get more products from Milani and I also am dying to try the LA girl pro concealers!
