Review | Bourjois City Radiance Skin Protecting Foundation

Hi Everyone
I never really try out new foundations, I usually just stick to one or two and just tend to re-purchase the ones I know I like. I've seen a lot of people loving the Bourjois City Radiance Skin Protecting Foundation and decided to give it a go myself.

About a year ago, the only foundations I would purchase were ones with full coverage, for example the Estee Lauder Double wear was a firm favourite of mine for quite some time. But... Just recently I have decided I would like to try more lighter foundations as I don't have very problematic skin which needs a thick coverage and when I do have problem areas I can always use my Mac Pro-long-wear concealer to help me out.

This foundation caught my eye when I was wandering around Superdrug at the weekend, the packaging is sleek, lightweight and travel friendly. The product is easy to distribute due to the squeezable plastic it is made from. I tried this foundation out yesterday for the first time and I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I actually liked this product, I thought it would be very light and hardly any coverage but I was wrong. This foundation has a light to medium coverage but is buildable, I had a bit of redness on my skin yesterday so I applied a little more over these areas and it covered flawlessly.

I applied the foundation using my Real Techniques - buffing brush and it worked really well with it. I was left with a brightened and flawless looking complexion without it looking cakey or feeling heavy. The lasting power was also really good, I set it with Mac Prep & Prime Translucent powder - It lasted from around 9:30am in the morning until I took it off at around 7:30pm at night!

Benefits:
  Contains SPF 30
  Contains Radiance-Boosting Pigments
  Contains Anti-Pollution screen

Overall, a fabulous and affordable foundation. I will definitely be repurchasing it as I think this will be a great foundation to take on holiday with me this year!

Have you tried any Bourjois foundations? Which do you recommend I should try next?
