My Favourite Makeup Remover | Garnier Micellar Cleansing water

The latest addition to my skin care routine has been the Garnier - Micellar cleansing water. I'm sure you have all heard of micellar waters by now but if you haven't its basically a product which removes makeup and cleanses the skin without any need of rinsing. Micellar water takes it's name from micelles which are small round balls of cleansing molecules that float in the water. When you apply the product to your skin, these capture all the oil and dirt on your face and remove it instantly.  I decided to get this to try as Micellar water is very gentle and doesn't contain any harsh ingredients unlike some other makeup removers. My skin can be very sensitive so I have to be careful with what I use, but this perfume-free cleansing water works wonders for me!

This caught my eye due to it's cute and girly packaging and also the amount of product you get, this is a huge 400ml bottle which says you should get at least 200 uses out of it so this should last me quite a while. I picked this up from Superdrug for £3.32 which is a bargain as this is much cheaper than some other micellar waters out on the market. I like to use a makeup wipe first to remove the bulk of my makeup and then soak a cotton pad with the micellar water and swipe across my face and eyes to remove the rest. It even removes stubborn mascara and heavy eye makeup with just a couple of swipes!

It literally removes my makeup in seconds and hasn't once left my skin feeling irritated, infact after using this my skin feels fresh, clean and soothed. This is such an effective product and does exactly what it says. I love to use this when I come home from a night out as I can never be bothered to wash my face with a cleanser and water so this is a great alternative for me!

Have you tried the Garnier Micellar water or do you have another favourite?
