Glamour Living | Acrypal Palette

Are you sick of using the back of your hand to apply makeup? I know I am! When I saw this new product from Glamour Living I just knew it was going to end up being a staple for me. Every morning when I leave for work I always end up having makeup marks from my foundation on my hand and it just doesn't look attractive at all. The Acrypal is a great alternative to stop all of this.

First of all, I want to talk a little about the brand. Glamour Living is the one and only company in the UK that produce these unique products and hand crafts them all to an amazing quality. They create gorgeous acrylic products, from Makeup cubes to staplers. Each product is made to a high standard and engraved with the product name to give recognition of the brand and its quality. Celebrities such as Kerry Katona, Amy Childs, Coleen Rooney & Lilly Allen are also big fans of Glamour Living and I can totally see why.

The Acrypal is a great, hygienic and easy solution for mixing and applying makeup products. I love how this gives me a smooth and clean surface to be able to mix my foundation onto instead of using my hands. The good thing about this palette is that it gives you the option to be able to mix foundations together to create the perfect tone for your skin and also due to the acrylic you can hold the palette up to your cheek to see if the foundation matches correctly. The palette is lightweight so would be perfect for travelling and also for makeup artists who are constantly on the go.

I have been using this every day since I got it and honestly it is a life saver. Within my job I do a lot of bridal and special occasion makeup for clients which sometimes requires me to travel, so this will definitely come in handy for them occasions!

-Lightweight and perfect for travelling
-Wipes clean after use
-Creates a smooth surface to apply makeup products
-Perfect for mixing colours together
-Very high quality
-Works for people left and right handed

Glamour Living also gave me a discount code for all my followers! Use the code ASGLAM to get 10% off!

Review | Bourjois City Radiance Skin Protecting Foundation

Hi Everyone
I never really try out new foundations, I usually just stick to one or two and just tend to re-purchase the ones I know I like. I've seen a lot of people loving the Bourjois City Radiance Skin Protecting Foundation and decided to give it a go myself.

About a year ago, the only foundations I would purchase were ones with full coverage, for example the Estee Lauder Double wear was a firm favourite of mine for quite some time. But... Just recently I have decided I would like to try more lighter foundations as I don't have very problematic skin which needs a thick coverage and when I do have problem areas I can always use my Mac Pro-long-wear concealer to help me out.

This foundation caught my eye when I was wandering around Superdrug at the weekend, the packaging is sleek, lightweight and travel friendly. The product is easy to distribute due to the squeezable plastic it is made from. I tried this foundation out yesterday for the first time and I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I actually liked this product, I thought it would be very light and hardly any coverage but I was wrong. This foundation has a light to medium coverage but is buildable, I had a bit of redness on my skin yesterday so I applied a little more over these areas and it covered flawlessly.

I applied the foundation using my Real Techniques - buffing brush and it worked really well with it. I was left with a brightened and flawless looking complexion without it looking cakey or feeling heavy. The lasting power was also really good, I set it with Mac Prep & Prime Translucent powder - It lasted from around 9:30am in the morning until I took it off at around 7:30pm at night!

Benefits:
  Contains SPF 30
  Contains Radiance-Boosting Pigments
  Contains Anti-Pollution screen

Overall, a fabulous and affordable foundation. I will definitely be repurchasing it as I think this will be a great foundation to take on holiday with me this year!

Have you tried any Bourjois foundations? Which do you recommend I should try next?
